My audio setup is using Volumio and my home automation system runs Home Assistant. Home Assistant has support for both Doorbird and Volumio! In HA, I created an automation that is triggered by the event doorbird_front_door_button and calls media_player.select_source on the Volumio service. I put the doorbell sound in a playlist and just call that playlist.</p><p>{<br>"entity_id": "media_player.volumio",<br>"source": "Doorbell"<br>}</p><p>2 way audio works great with SIP. I'm about to buy one and was wondering how to proceed with that part.<br>One more thing, I've read that for 2-way audio you needed their own app, and that it wouldn't work under SIP mode.
